San Sebastián Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Pamplona Bus Station, from where we'll head north.
Leaving the capital of Navarre behind, after a 1.5-hour journey, we'll arrive in Gipuzkoa, the easternmost province of the Basque Country. Once there, we'll take a guided tour of San Sebastián, where you'll be captivated by the elegance of its Belle Époque architecture!
On our tour of Donostia, as the city is known in Basque, we'll walk along the promenade of La Concha beach, whose emblematic white railing is an icon. Next, we'll stop in front of the façade of San Sebastián City Hall, a beautiful, eclectic-style building declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.
After admiring the outside of the city hall, we'll continue our tour of San Sebastián heading into the Old Town. In this picturesque neighbourhood, located next to the port, the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Chorus and the plaza de la Constitución stand out.
At the end of our guided tour of the Old Town, you'll have 45 minutes of free time, during which we recommend trying some of the famous Basque pintxos at one of the many restaurants in the historic centre.
Finally, we'll meet back up in the centre of San Sebastián to begin our journey back to the meeting point in Pamplona, where we'll end this 5-hour-long trip.
