Paris Free Bike Tour

At the indicated time, we'll begin this free bike tour of Paris from the central Place de la Bastille. Ready to cycle around the French capital?

After learning about the history of this esplanade, where the French Revolution of 1789 began, we'll start cycling through the centre of Paris. First, we'll pass by the church of Saint Paul and Saint Louis. From there, we'll continue to the Place des Vosgues, where we'll stop to see the details of what is considered to be the largest planned square in Paris.

We'll continue cycling along the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville to see the façade of the City Hall from the bike. We'll then pass the Saint-Jacques Tower and the church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. Opposite this church are the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Gardens.

After seeing the statue of Joan of Arc, we'll cycle to Place Vendôme and Place de la Concorde, two of the most beautiful squares in the centre of Paris. Did you know that the latter is home to the Obelisk of Luxor? We'll stop to learn about its history!

Our bike route will then continue past the spectacular Petit Palais and Grand Palais. From there, we'll cross the River Seine over the Pont Alexandre III until we reach the esplanade of Les Invalides.

Finally, after 2.5 hours of cycling, we'll conclude this free bike tour next to the Eiffel Tower, the great symbol of Paris.

• To do this tour, you need to know how to ride a bike. The guide may remove anyone who cannot demonstrate their ability to handle the bike properly from the activity, as this poses a risk to the entire group.
• Please note that this is a historical and cultural tour, not a recreational tour.
• We do not have children's seats on the bikes or special bikes for children.
• This activity does not include bike rental. On the day of the tour, you can bring your own bike or pay € 10 (US$ 11.70) to exchange for a Vélib bike rental card, which you can use during the tour.
