Latin Quarter Free Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll start our journey at the Place Saint Michel fountain in the heart of the Latin Quarter. From there, we'll begin exploring one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Paris!
First up, we'll visit the iconic Shakespeare and Company bookstore, delving into its fascinating history. Did you know many famous writers frequented the Latin Quarter's street in the past? We'll discover the storied past that authors like Hemingway and James Joyce have with the neighborhood along the tour.
Next, we'll head to the Panthéon, a grandiose monument that houses the remains of famous people such as Marie Curie and Louis Braille. We will then reach the Medieval Garden of the Cluny Museum, famous for its medicinal plants. Walking through its flowerbeds, you will feel as if time has stood still.
Afterward, we'll make our way to Sorbonne University, where we will tell you the details of its foundation and the most influential personalities who have passed through its classrooms.
Finally, after approximately 2 hours of exploring, we'll conclude our free tour at this final stop.
