Ticket Details

Located on Rue de Rivoli, the MAD or Museum of Decorative Arts occupies the Rohan and Marsan wings of the Louvre Palace.

With your tickets to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, you can visit both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions at this centre dedicated to fashion and design from the Middle Ages to the present day.

If you like interior design, don't miss the rooms dedicated to Art Nouveau. Here, you'll find a myriad of objects, such as dressing tables, chairs, vases, glassware, chests, sideboards, sofas and an extraordinary display of living room furniture.

Fashion enthusiasts cannot leave the museum without visiting the textile collections. Through different suits, dresses, bags, jackets, hats, shawls, pashminas, scarves, skirts and other garments, you can learn how clothing has evolved from the Middle Ages to today.

The museum also houses an extensive collection of decorative objects from different periods, such as wallpaper, photographs, advertising posters, cinema items, and more. If you're visiting with children, the toy rooms are well worth a visit. Here, you'll find soft toys, toy soldiers, dolls, and mechanical accessories that children from different periods used to play with.

Your ticket also includes an audio guide in English that will allow you to learn about the main curiosities of both the permanent collection and the different temporary exhibitions at the MAD.

Please note that the MAD in Paris is spread over three locations: the Rivoli Site (next to the Louvre Museum), the Monceau Site and the Raspail Site. Your ticket will only be valid for the first location.
