Rafting on Baker River
Rafting on Baker River
At the time you choose, we'll meet at Los Calafates street in Puerto Bertrand. From there, we'll head over to one of the most spectacular areas of Patagonia: the Baker River, the longest river in Chile.
After a brief safety briefing, we'll put on our helmets, waterproof shoes, wetsuits, vests, and other rafting equipment. Ready to get your adrenaline pumping? You're about to live a once-in-a-lifetime experience in a breathtaking natural enclave, surrounded by the majestic Andean peaks.
The turquoise waters of the Baker River are part of what make it so uniquely beautiful. We'll descend a stretch of 6 kilometers (3.7 miles), crossing different areas with class III rapids.
Teamwork is the dream work! We'll have to work and paddle together in coordination in order to make our way through the toughest sections of the Baker River. It'll be a very exciting trip, to say the least!
The rafting experience, which will last two and a half hours, will come to an end back the meeting point in Puerto Bertrand.
