After picking you up at your hotel, we'll embark on a short 30-minute trip northeast until we reach the town of Macao. Ready to discover one of the places where you'll experience authentic Dominican culture?
To cool off, we'll stop in the center of Bávaro, where we'll enjoy a freshly cut coconut water and a crispy empanada prepared at the moment as we mix with the locals and soak up the joyful Caribbean ambience.
Once we reach Macao, we'll dive even more into the area's vegetation to start a coffee and cocoa tour of an estate and its fields, where we'll see the local work with the beans until they become a delicious treat. You'll feel the centuries-old tradition that lives on in the hands of the farmers.
The best moment of the experience will arrive when we reach the Macao Beach, one of the most paradisiacal beaches in the area. Here, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to sunbathe and take a dip in its turquoise waters. You'll love its landscapes!
To end the tour, we'll go to the Mercado Macao, which will greet us with an explosion of colors, textures, and smiles from the vendors. For half an hour, we'll explore the market's halls, filled with typical products and handmade crafts. Can you resist buying loads of souvenirs?
Lastly, we'll head to Plaza Bibijagua to enjoy a lunch featuring rice with beans, grilled chicken or fish, and tostones. It'll be a true Dominican feast!
After this last stop, we'll start our journey back to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes after 3 hours.
