Tour Details

On the day of the tour, we'll meet up at 37 Shotover Street, leave Queenstown behind, and head to Skippers Canyon, a spectacular gorge that we'll explore in our jeep. As we pass by Coronet Peak, we'll make our way up to the entrance of this monumental canyon and stop at Lighthouse Rock. From this spot, we'll admire fantastic panoramic views.

Next, we'll drive along the legendary Skippers Road, carved by hand into the cliffs above the Shotover River, and stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the views of the Skippers Suspension Bridge, where you can take photos of the landscape.

Afterward, we will head to Deep Creek, where we'll watch a gold panning demonstration. In the surrounding area, we'll see places that you'll probably recognize, as they have been used as a film set for a famous movie series. Can you guess which one?
