At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Quito, 5 am, where we'll board a bus and set off on a road trip to the "city of fruits and flowers". Let's go!
Once we arrive in Amboto, we'll start exploring the city. Did you know that it's also known as the "cradle of the three Johns"? Let's find out who these historic figures are! Before we do so, we'll give you free time so you can refuel for the day with breakfast.
We'll visit the most important parks and monuments in Ambato, and after having lunch at a local restaurant on your own, we'll visit the Atocha-La Liria Botanical Garden and the House Museum of Juan Montalvo. As we explore these iconic spots, we'll learn more about the city's history and natural areas.
Our next stop will be Quisapincha, an ancient town in the province of Tungurahua that's famous for its leather industry. You'll have some free time here to visit the shops selling this material before we set off back to Quito.
Finally, we'll return to Quito, where we'll drop you off at your hotel 12 hours later.
