We'll meet at Playa Arpoador, one of the favorite spots for surfers visiting Rio de Janeiro, famous for its incredible views of the Dois Irmãos and Pedra da Gávea mountains. Here, we'll provide all the necessary equipment for the activity. Ready to start the lesson?
First, we'll start with some introductory information to explain to you the basics of the sea, waves, and the correct use of the surfboard. Then, it'll be time to jump into the sea!
You'll learn the basics of surfing, including paddling techniques, information on the tides, how to get into the water safely, and how to know which waves are best. Your qualified instructor will guide you at all times, adapting the class to your level, regardless of whether you have a beginner's or intermediate level. Plus, the classes will be in small groups to guarantee more personalized attention.
After 1 hour of pure adrenaline surfing the waves, we'll conclude this fantastic surfing experience in Rio de Janeiro at the starting point.
