    I love walking tours and enjoyed this one very much. I learned about Ronda history, the Puente Nuevo of course, and best places to view the bridge and river gorge. Dasha(spelling?) took good care of us and was easy to understand. Because I recently enjoyed other tours with humorous local stories, I would encourage some of that from local guides. Such as the story she offeredHemingway/Orson Welles portraits facing away from each other because they were enemies. Who knew! Thanks for a lovely tour.

Perched dramatically over a deep gorge, the Puente Nuevo is the most famous landmark in Ronda, Spain. This breathtaking stone bridge spans the El Tajo canyon, offering stunning views of the surrounding Andalusian countryside. A Brief History

Built between 1759 and 1793, the bridge was designed to connect Ronda's old Moorish quarter with the newer part of town. Its construction was a tremendous feat of engineering, standing nearly 100 meters above the river below. Over the centuries, it has become a symbol of Ronda and a testament to the creativity and determination of 18th-century Spanish builders.
