Château Clos Systey Vineyard Tour
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the entrance of Château Clos Systey, a small family-run vineyard in Saint-Émilion whose identity is defined by the soul and biodynamic approach of its agriculture. Are you ready to discover a different kind of wine from the Bordeaux region? Let’s begin!
Once everyone has arrived, we’ll start learning about the entire winemaking process carried out at Clos Systey. From the careful planting of the vines, through the organic and biodynamic farming techniques used in production and soil care, to the unique moment of tasting the wine in the glass.
Throughout the visit, you’ll discover how this Saint-Émilion château cares for the vines throughout the year, as well as the demanding work involved in harvesting the grapes by hand. You’ll also learn about the history of this family winery, founded in 2015 by Sylvie Dulong and Stéphan Gwitz with the aim of creating an exceptional wine that’s, above all, respectful of biodiversity.
Afterward, we’ll enjoy a very special tasting in the cellars, where you’ll sample the wine directly from the barrels. This will allow you to appreciate its nuances and evolution in a unique setting. To complete the experience, we’ll finish with a tasting of 2 wines by the glass, the perfect way to fully appreciate Clos Systey’s passion for its products.
1.5 hours later, we’ll say goodbye with this pleasant aftertaste and bring the visit to an end.
