Montalcino Forest Truffle Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Piazza Antonio Gramsci in San Giovanni d’Asso. Once we're all together, you'll have to hop in your own vehicles to follow the guide who will lead us to the Montalcino Forest, where we'll take the truffle tour. Ready? Let's go!

To begin, we'll hear about the fascinating world of truffles in general, learning all about the influence of the seasons on this prized mushroom, as well as the characteristics of the different truffles that exist and the areas where they can be found. In addition, we'll learn about how they're grown, their conservation and their possible uses in cooking.

As we walk through the forest, we'll be accompanied by an expert truffle-finding dog. These animals are specially trained to find them! We'll have to keep a close eye on the areas where truffles can be found. It'll be an incredibly fun experience!

After 2 hours of this truffle experience in Tuscany, we'll say our goodbyes and you'll be able to go and get some truffle. As a gift, we'll also be given a typical recipe for a truffle dish.
