Ñuñorco Grande Hill Guided Hike
Tour Details
After picking you up at your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán, we'll leave the city behind to head towards Los Ñuñorcos Provincial Park, in El Mollar, a town we'll reach in about 2 hours. Let's get started!
Once we have our shoes on, we'll start walking towards the Ñuñorco Grande Hill at a moderate pace. We'll cross steep trails in an arid landscape as we learn all about the flora and fauna that we'll see along the way. We'll take short breaks to rest and enjoy the environment, plus these breaks will help us adapt to the change in altitude. The reward at the top will be worth our efforts!
On this 5-hour trekking route, we'll push our endurance as we make our way to the summit of Ñuñorco Grande mountain. Reaching the top will bring an overwhelming sense of satisfaction, accompanied by breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. At times, clouds will form a soft blanket, with the peaks of nearby hills emerging through the mist. If we're lucky, we might even spot condors soaring across the skies of Tucumán.
At this point, we'll stop to refuel with lunch consisting of cold meat sandwiches and fruit. Afterwards, we'll start our descent towards El Mollar, from where we'll start our way back to San Miguel de Tucumán.
Finally, after 11 hours, we'll say goodbye at your hotel. See you next time!
