Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to begin this exciting adventure. During the drive, which takes approximately one hour, we’ll make a quick stop at a local shop so you can buy water, snacks, or any last-minute items.
Over the course of 2.5 to 3 hours, we'll make our way up to the summit as we climb the Lascar volcano. Along the way, we'll make a few stops to catch our breath, drink some water and enjoy some amazing panoramic views of the Andean landscape. Don't forget to bring your camera!
Once we reach the summit of Cerro Toco, we'll be rewarded with sprawling views of Laguna Verde in Bolovia, and the Licancabur and Juriques volcanoes. If we're lucky, we'll even be able to spot the awe-inspiring Andes Mountains!
Then, after soaking up a jaw-dropping panorama, we'll begin our 1.5 hour descent from the summit. After a day well-spent in nature, we'll bring our experience to an end back at your hotel, 8 hours later.
