Tour Options

When booking, you can choose from the following options. Both include hotel pickup & drop–off, transport by minibus, and an English–speaking guide exclusively for your group, who will accompany you throughout the tour. Additionally, you’ll have access to snacks such as fruit, granola bars, and sports drinks to enjoy during the tour.

Below, you can see the details of each route:

Cajón del Maipo Tour

After pickup from your hotel in Santiago, we’ll head to the Cajón del Maipo, one of Chile’s most fascinating spots with stunning Andean landscapes in the heart of the Andes Mountains. During the approximately 1-hour journey, you’ll notice how the scenery gradually changes as we enter the mountains.

We’ll continue our journey past the El Yeso Reservoir, one of the most visited attractions in the Cajón del Maipo. You can’t imagine the beauty of its turquoise waters surrounded by mountains at 2,500 meters (8,202 ft) above sea level!

Upon reaching the highest point, we’ll get out of the vehicle and get ready to start the bike route. Let’s ride! During this tour, we’ll follow a downhill trail that will take us on an exciting journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Cajón del Maipo.

On our bikes, we’ll get an up-close look at typical Andean flora and fauna, and get our adrenaline pumping as we navigate winding terrain. You’re going to have a blast! At the end of the descent, we’ll stop for a snack to recharge our energy.

Finally, we’ll return the bikes and head back to Santiago, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel 9 hours later.

Vineyard Tour + Wine Tasting

If you want to experience the Cajón del Maipo differently, this option is for you. After picking you up from the hotel, we’ll travel through the Andes toward the Palacio Majadas de Pirque, a historic 19th-century mansion that will mark the start of our bike route.

Fully equipped, we’ll hop on our bikes and begin a tour through the vineyards of the Maipo Valley. Thanks to the guide’s explanations, you’ll learn all about grape growing in this region of Chile, as well as the details of how its award-winning wines are made.

Afterward, we’ll leave the bikes and head inside the winery to explore it. For 1.5 hours, we’ll take a guided tour to learn everything about the winemaking process. Plus, to end the day on a high note, we’ll enjoy a tasting of three premium wines from the winery paired with a cheese platter.

Finally, we’ll head back to your hotel, wrapping up the tour 9 hours later.
