Tequila Sightseeing Tour + Distillery Visit
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Calle Juárez 21, where we'll begin our scenic tour of Tequila. Are you ready to discover this Pueblo Mágico (Magical Village)? Let's go!
Aboard a bus with a fun barrel shape, we'll pass by the town's most emblematic spots, while we tell you about its culture, legends, and traditions. Throughout this 1-hour tour. you'll get to admire spots like the Plaza Principal and the Parroquia de Santiago Apóstol.
We'll continue our route towards the Orendain Distillery, one of the most famous in the region. Once we arrive, we'll head inside to go on a guided tour of its facilities that will last 1 hour and 20 minutes. We'll discover its production plants and agave fields, as we learn about the elaboration process of tequila in detail, from the agave brewing to its distillation.
Do you know what the difference is between first and second-distillation tequila? During the tour, you'll have the chance to taste both types, as well as exceptional-quality cooked agave.
After this sensory experience, we'll return to the bus for one final 10-minute scenic drive that will take us back to our initial starting point. Here, we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 2.5 hours.
