Tigre Delta Rowing Tour

  • 3 - 5 hours

Sail along the Tigre Delta and put yourself to the test on this rowing tour. Combine adventure and nature in the same activity!

Tigre Delta Rowing Tour

The Tigre Delta is made up of various streams and creeks that come from the Paraná River. All of these then flow into the La Plata River.

We'll meet at the train station in Tigre and we'll then walk for about 10 minutes until we reach the Club de Regatas Hispano Argentino rowing club. There, you'll find lockers and changing rooms so you can change your clothes and leave your belongings.

Next, we'll climb into the rowing boats and you'll be given a basic rowing lesson and some safety information. Each boat has a maximum capacity of three people. You'll be able to row two at a time or take it turns to row and relax. Your guide will also have a go if you all want to relax.

We'll start to row in the nearby creeks, such as Gambado, Rompani and Abravieja. The exact location will depend on the preferences of the group.

As you row, you'll be able to admire the beautiful riverside vegetation and the local houses and cabins that are found on the river banks. You'll also have time to take photos and even take a dip in the river if you want to.

The tour will come to an end back at the rowing club.

Tour + Lunch

If you want to enjoy a longer tour, you can opt for the 5-hour tour with lunch. After rowing in the nearby creeks, we'll get onto dry land on Victoria Island. You'll have an hour and a half to enjoy a delicious lunch, take a walk along the jetty and explore the area. Afterwards, we'll row back to the initial rowing club.
