2 Day Rowing Tour

Day 1

At the selected time, we'll meet at the train station in Tigre and we'll then walk for about 10 minutes until we reach Luján. Here, we'll head inside the Club de Regatas Hispano Argentino rowing club where you'll be able to make use of the lockers and changing rooms.

Next, we'll make our way to the rowing boats, and for the first 1300 feet (400 metres) the expert guide will do all the rowing. Once we reach calm waters, you'll be given a basic class on rowing techniques and safety so you can fully make the most of the tour.

Now it'll be time for you to take the lead and row for yourselves. Each of the boats has a maximum capacity of three people; you can take it in turns to row and rest, and if you get tired the guide an also take a turn too.

You'll row along the various creeks and streams in the Tigre delta, including the Gambado, Rompani and Abravieja, which all come from the Paraná River and then flow into the La Plata River. Not only will you be able to admire the beautiful scenery, but there will also be time for you to take photos and even jump in and take a dip!

And the end of the day, we'll make our way to Victoria Island, around 1.9 miles (3 kilometres) from the initial starting point. We'll spend the night here, but first, you'll be able to replenish your energy with a tasty dinner, take a walk along the jetty and explore the incredible surroundings.

Day 2

In the morning, you'll be served breakfast at the inn and then, with your batteries recharged after a good night's rest, we'll row back along the Tigre delta and finish the tour at the Club de Regatas Hispano Argentino rowing club, where we collected the boats from the previous day.
