    Our tour was very good despite the rain, Erick, our bilingual guide, did an excellent job. He was very kind, organized, knowledgeable about the subject and gave us a lot of additional information, which made the trip very entertaining. The tour was punctual, the bus was clean and in good condition, our driver was a crack.

How to visit Mount Fuji

Book a day trip with Civitatis to get the best views of Japan's highest peak. The best views of Mount Fuji are generally enjoyed from Hakone (which is also home to some of the nation's top-rated onsen) or Lake Kawaguchi.

Climbing Mount Fuji

If you want to climb to Japan's highest peak, 3776 metres (12,389 ft), keep in mind that the climb is open to climbers only from early July until September. 

Keep in mind...

While these locations provide some of the best views of the mountain, poor visibility will often mean that you still won't be able to see Mount Fuji. Generally, the best visibility can be enjoyed in the autumn and winter months.
