Torrevieja Port Tour
We will meet in the morning at the fishing port, before starting our fantastic guided tour of this enchanting district of one of the Alicante's largest cities. During the tour, we will encounter the remains of the first pier that was built in Torrevieja and discover the origins of the town's historic fishing tradition.
Next, we enter the fish market, where you will witness the morning's catch being unloaded from the boats before being auctioned.
Our tour continues as we introduce ourselves to a group of net fishermen who will tell us all about what their curious trade is like and who will give us a demonstration of how they do it. Of course, the tour wouldn't be complete without tasting the freshly caught fish for yourselves before we bid farewell.
Important information
If you do the tour of the port of Torrevieja on a Saturday, you will not see the unloading of the boats or the auction in the market, as it is closed on that day. Instead, we'll board a traditional fishing vessel and you will receive a demonstration of how it works.
