Chambord & Villesavin Châteaux E-Bike Tour

On this e-bike tour, we’ll ride through the stunning landscapes of the Loire Valley and visit the beautiful castles of Chambord and Villesavin. You’ll be captivated from start to finish!

Activity Details

We’ll meet at the Tours Tourist Office at the scheduled time and head straight to the Château de Villesavin to get started.

Once we arrive at this French Renaissance gem, we’ll hop on our electric bikes and ride through the surrounding forests. The Château de Villesavin was built by Jean le Breton, a minister under Francis I who also supervised the construction of Chambord.

After a scenic 45-minute ride, we’ll reach Chambord, the most famous castle in the Loire Valley. Is it true that Leonardo da Vinci himself was behind its design? We’ll dive into this and many other fascinating facts during a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. As we explore this architectural masterpiece, we’ll visit the most important rooms of the palace commissioned by King Francis I in the 16th century.

Following the tour of Chambord, you’ll have an hour of free time to grab lunch on your own nearby. Then, we’ll get back on our bikes for the return journey to Château de Villesavin, which has been the home of the Count and Countess of Villesavin since the 1930s.

Finally, we’ll board the minibus and head back to the original meeting point, concluding this 9-hour adventure.
