We'll reach the archaeological site of Carthage, located on the shores of the Mediterranean. We'll discover how this ancient Phoenician colony grew to become the capital of the Carthaginian Empire, as well as the most important stories of the Punic Wars between the Carthaginians and the Romans.
The next city we'll visit is Sidi Bou Said. There, you'll have free time to walk around this picturesque village known worldwide for its white walls and blue doors and windows!
At the end of the day, we'll take you back to your hotel in Tunis to have dinner and rest up.

After this visit, we'll make our way to the ruins of Dougga. We'll make many stops, including the Rose of the Winds Square, the Capitoline temple, the forum, and the thermal baths.
Then, you'll have time to grab yourself a bite to eat. Feeling refuelled, we'll leave for Zaghouan to visit the Temple of the Waters, an aqueduct from Hadrian's time that supplied water to Carthage. You'll be amazed!
We'll end the day at our accommodation in Sousse with a delicious dinner.
Day 4: Sousse - El Djem - Matmata - Douz
On the fourth day, we'll have breakfast in Sousse and then travel to El Djem. Its imposing limestone structure, perfectly preserved despite the passage of centuries, will transport us to the splendour of ancient Thysdrus, one of the most prosperous cities in Roman Africa.
Afterwards, we'll visit Matmata and its cave houses, dwellings carved into the mountains to take refuge from the harsh desert. There, you'll be able to go to a local restaurant to satiate your appetite.
The last stop of the day will be in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where we'll take a drive among the dunes of the Sahara to enjoy the sunset view.
Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Douz to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 5: Douz - Debebcha - Chott el Djerid - Ong Jemel - Tozeur

We'll continue our journey across the immense salt lake of Chott el Jerid, a salt lake known for its mirages and located just 25 minutes above sea level. The photographs here are spectacular!
After the visit, we'll arrive at the hotel in Tozeur, where we'll settle in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we'll set off in an off-roading vehicle to the oases of Chebica, Tamerza and the famous Ong Jemel hill. This area will be familiar to you thanks to its appearance in numerous films, such as The English Patient and Star Wars.
We'll end the day by returning to our accommodation in Tozeur for dinner and rest. See you tomorrow!
Day 6: Tozeur - Kairouan - Sousse
After breakfast, we'll leave for the Atlas Mountains to get to Kairouan, the fourth-holiest city in Islam and a World Heritage Site. We'll take a panoramic tour of the Great Mosque, the most important in the Maghreb, notable for its austere beauty, its vast marble courtyard and its square minaret, considered one of the oldest in the Muslim world.
We'll also visit the Barber's Mausoleum, a shrine that houses the relics of one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad. It's undoubtedly a symbol of the deep religious fervour that characterises Kairouan.
Afterwards, we'll take a break to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the medina and traditional souks. Strolling through its narrow streets, you'll discover the ochre brick facades typical of the region, the markets selling dates, fabrics and ceramics.
