Varadero and Varahicacos Ecological Reserve Tour
Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Varadero in a classic car and set off for our first stop. Let the adventure begin!
We'll head into the Varahicacos Ecological Reserve to see the oldest living organism in Cuba, a cactus known as El Patriarca. We'll uncover all its myths and legends while enjoying the nature surrounding it. Along the route, we'll make several stops for a tasting of 4 premium Cuban rums.
We'll continue to the Cueva de Ambrosio National Monument, a genuine archaeological gem of Varadero that sheltered the indigenous Taíno people and later pirates in the 16th and 17th centuries. Inside, we'll admire the largest collection of pre-Columbian pictographs in the Caribbean. A journey into the past!
Our next stop is the Xanadú Mansion, one of the most emblematic buildings in the city. After this visit, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to relax on one of the finest beaches on the Varadero peninsula. The perfect moment to soak up this Cuban paradise.
To finish, we'll visit the Torreón del Quijote, Varadero's first water supply system, which offers one of the most beautiful views over Cárdenas Bay.
Our final stop will be the historic center of Varadero, where we'll see the exterior of the Casa Azul, one of the first homes built on the peninsula, and stroll along the Paso Malo Canal.
Finally, we'll take you back to your accommodation in Varadero, wrapping up this 2-hour tour.
