Villamanín Snowshoeing Tour
We'll meet at 10 am on the Asturias road, next to the base of Fontún peak. On arrival, we'll put on our snowshoes and start an unforgettable walk through the white landscapes of Villamanín.
The natural environment of Alto Bernesga will be the perfect setting to try out this new technique of walking on snow. Snowshoes are an excellent way to enjoy a walk in the snow in a safe, comfortable and fun way, and you'll become real experts!
Did you know that the province of León has seven areas declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve? We'll reveal this and other curious facts about the environment around us as we glide through the snow. Although the route may vary depending on the weather conditions at the time, we'll always choose a path with minimal unevenness to make walking around the base of Fontún an easy and safe experience.
Furthermore, during the tour, we'll make stops so that you can photograph the landscape and take away an unforgettable memory of Fontún peak.
After about 2 or 3 hours, depending on the group's pace, we'll return to the starting point and end the snowshoeing tour.
