The tour meets in Wanaka Marina at the chosen time, climbing aboard the boat which will take us on a pleasant 45-minute cruise on Lake Wanaka until we reach our destination.
Do you know what is peculiar about Mou Waho Island? Hold on to your hats: it's an island, with a lake, on an island, in a lake, which itself is on an island. Incredible!
Once we reach Mou Waho, we will enjoy a one and a half hour trek through the nature reserve and climb its highest peak to admire the impressive views of Lake Wanaka and its surroundings. This is the perfect opportunity to discover some of New Zealand's exotic birds, such as the weka.
Finally, we will climb back aboard the boat and head back to the start point.
