Alhambra Granada Day Trip

3 reviews | 26 travellers
4 hours of history and stories, facts, anecdotes ... entertaining, entertaining. One comes out with the feeling of having read a good book on the subject. Javier, the guide, makes it easy and fun. Pilar completed it, the guide that took us from Tabernas and that completed the trip with extensive information about the economy of the area, its ups and downs in recent years and magnificent recommendations for the rest of our stay in this environment. Absolutely recommended

Alhambra Granada Day Trip

We'll meet on Calle Puerta del Mar, in Almería, at 8 am and hop on a bus to Granada!

After a two hour journey we'll arrive at the Alhambra, a magnificent building declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, without a doubt, one of the most impressive Islamic architectural legacies in Spain.

We'll spend three hours touring this palace and fortress complex to discover its main rooms. We'll explore the Royal Complex, where the Court of the Lions and fountain, the Alcazaba citadel and the Generalife villa are located. You'll be captivated by its beautiful gardens.

On the tour we'll learn a multitude of interesting facts about the building and its history. What role did it play during the Reconquista? What important historical event were the Catholic Kings involved in here? Find out!

After the tour, we'll show you how to get to the centre of Granada so you can walk through its charming streets. You'll have two hours of free time to get some lunch and discover beautiful neighbourhoods such as the Albaicín, admire the cathedral, visit an Arabian tea shop and much more.

We'll be back at the meeting point in Almería at around 5 pm.
