Discover two beautiful spots in the province of Almería with our Cape Cat & Mojácar Day Trip. You'll see both Mojácar's traditional white houses and Cape Cat's breathtaking landscape all in one day.
Cape Cat & Mojácar Day Trip
At 9:30 am we'll meet at 58 Morato street in Almeria. Once on the bus we'll head to Cape Cat. Let's go!
The first stop will be at the Cape Cat Lighthouse. This 19th century building stands in the middle of Almería's desert and has been a key strategic point for guarding the Mediterranean Sea since Phoenician times. Nearby, we'll find the beautiful Mermaid's Viewpoint where you can take some photos of the stunning natural scenery.
Our trip will continue as we head to the Cape Cat salt flats, which are inhabited by many flamingos. We'll then return to the bus and head to Mojácar, arriving 1 hour later. On the way, we'll cross Tabernas Desert, where many filmmakers in the 60s chose to shoot their classic westerns.
We'll stop in the historic centre of Mojácar and, after a guided tour of its history and curiosities, you'll have free time for lunch on your own. Once you've had lunch, we'll return to the bus and stop at the fishing village of Carboneras and Los Muertos Beach. In these two spots you'll feel the true tranquillity of Almería.
After a wonderful day touring Almería's treasures, we'll return to the city at 5:30 pm.
