Discover the beautiful landscapes of the El Yunque Natural Reserve when you take this fantastic trek from Baracoa.
El Yunque Trip
We will meet up in the Parque Central (Central Park) at 8 am before heading to El Yunque Natural Reserve about 6 miles outside the city.
Once we arrive in this beautiful area of tropical rainforest, we will set off on a wonderful trek through the lush vegetation full of exotic flora and fauna. This amazing environment is nestled almost 2000 feet above sea level, and its name means the "Anvil" due to the flat summit. From the top, you will enjoy impressive views of the surrounding jungle landscapes.
Before continuing on the route, you will have some free time to have lunch in a local restaurant (not included). Then we will bathe under the waterfalls and in the natural pools of the idyllic Duaba River. The cool crystal waters are the perfect tonic after the morning hike.
We will head to Baracoa, arriving at around 5 pm.
