Discover the beautiful nature surrounding the Rio Miel (Honey River) and relax on the tropical beaches where it meets the sea when you take this brilliant trip from Baracoa.
Miel River Mouth Trip
We will pick you up at Baracoa's Parque Central (Central Park) at 9 am and head towards the Mouth of the River Miel.
The journey will take us alongside the Baracoa Beach until we reach the mouth of the idyllic Miel River. There, we will see the mangroves and the natural terraces formed by the river, and enjoy an incredible view of the surrounding landscapes. We will also experience what life is like in the small villages that are located here.
We will also stop at a wonderful freshwater cave in the surroundings, the "Cueva del Agua" (Water Cave). Legend has it that whoever tastes the waters of the River Miel is condemned not to leave Baracoa forever. However, if you feel brave enough then you can take a refreshing dip!
You will then have your own free time in the area so that you can enjoy the local cuisine and recharge your batteries.
After lunch, we will go to Playa Blanca (White Beach), a small beach with stunning crystalline waters where you can relax and put the finishing touch to this wonderful day.
We will return to Central Park in Baracoa at 5 pm.
