Medoc Guided Tour + Wine Tasting
We'll meet at 1:45 pm on the Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux to board the minibus and venture out on the Route des Châteaux du Médoc. While you admire the landscape, the guide will explain all the characteristics of the vineyards of Bordeaux and the Médoc.
After a 40-minute drive, you'll arrive at a family winery. The owners will take you on a tour of the vineyards and cellars of the estate and explain their secrets to produce such a delicious wine.
You'll then attend a tasting workshop to educate your nose to identify the aromas of the wines. You'll become true experts! To confirm that the lesson has been well understood, you'll taste some of the château's wines.
Following on, the guide will take us to a Grand Cru Classé château. There you'll have the privilege of visiting one of the most prestigious chateaux in Bordeaux. After discovering the winemaking process, you'll end the visit with a tasting of the estate's wines while enjoying an aperitif of cheeses, fresh bread and other delicacies.
This tour will end returning to Bordeaux at around 7:15 pm.
