Tour to Troy

After picking you up at your hotel in Çanakkale at the indicated time, we'll start a road trip to Troy – the perfect excursion for mythology lovers!

Half an hour later, we'll arrive at our destination, the most famous city of Antiquity. Once there, we'll get off the minibus and start a guided tour of the archaeological site of Troy. What myths and legends do the city harbor? What is the real story behind its walls?

We'll walk among the remains that, after centuries of being forgotten, were discovered during the excavations of 1871 by Heinrich Schliemann. We'll see the Trojan Horse, the sacrificial altars, and the impressive defensive walls of the city. We'll also learn about the history of the Trojan War, described, in part, in Homer's Iliad.

Journey through time by walking the same paths as the inhabitants of Troy more than 3,000 years ago. We'll answer questions like, "what was their daily life like?" or "what buildings made up the city?"

You'll also see the results of the archaeological excavations, which uncovered 9 cities built successively one on top of the other!

After a 3-hour excursion, we'll return to the meeting point in Çanakkale.
