Chichén Itzá & Saamal Cenote Day Trip + Art Gallery Visit
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cancun and head to the imposing sacred city of Chichen Itza. Did you know that this was one of the most important political and religious centers of the Mayan civilization?
After a 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at the archaeological site for a 1-hour guided tour. We'll admire the famous Castle or Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Ball Court, the Temple of the Warriors and other monuments that have fascinated explorers and historians for centuries. Afterward, you'll have an hour of free time to tour this amazing site at your own pace and take as many photos as you can.
Our next stop will be Hacienda Selva Maya, where the Saamal cenote is located. Here, you'll enjoy 2 hours to relax swimming in its crystal clear waters and savor a delicious buffet lunch with regional dishes, all in a natural setting of great beauty!
After regaining your strength, we'll head to the city of Valladolid. First, we'll make a 30-45 minute visit to the Xoul Art & Mezcal gallery, a cultural sanctuary where Mexico expresses itself through art.
Here, you'll not only discover unique pieces such as black clay, hand-carved alebrijes, embroidered textiles and talavera pottery, but also meet the artists themselves and hear the stories that bring each piece to life. In addition, the gallery offers a sensory experience with artisanal mezcal tasting, making this stop a special moment where art, soul, and flavor merge.
Afterward, we'll leave you half an hour free to explore the charming historic center of Valladolid, with its colorful colonial facades and tranquil atmosphere.
Finally, we'll drive back to Cancun and bid you farewell at your hotel between 11 and 13 hours after pickup.
