Cross the border between France and Italy, and discover Sanremo and Dolceacqua as you pass through its old streets full of history. Not to be missed!
Day Trip to Dolceacqua and Sanremo
The tour picks you up first thing in the morning in Cannes and we make our way towards the Italian border to visit Dolceacqua and Sanremo.
Having arrived at Sanremo, we'll tour the historic centre of the Italian city, discovering the history of the place while we pass through its narrow winding streets, full of charm.
Once we've got to know Sanremo, we'll visit the medieval village of Dolceacqua. Here you'll have free time to explore its streets of your own accord, and admire the coloured houses which can be found throughout the town. Don't forget to visit its castle, and enjoy the impressive views you can see from its viewpoint!
We then return to France, arriving back at the hotels around 4:30 pm.
Ventimiglia
On Fridays, instead of visiting San Remo we'll visit the Italian town of Ventimiglia. We'll learn of the famous market which takes place in its streets, where the locals offer vegetables, flowers, and artisanal products such as cheeses and oils.

On this day trip we travel to Italy, therefore it is necessary to bring a passport (or national identity document for European citizens) and have any necessary visas.
