On this snorkeling tour, you'll discover the past of Castro Urdiales while diving in shallow waters along the eastern coast of Cantabria. Ready to explore the Cantabrian seabed?
Castro Urdiales Snorkeling Tour
At 6 pm, we'll meet at the San Guillen ramp, next to the stone bridge, to start this snorkeling experience in Castro Urdiales.
First of all, we'll get all the snorkeling equipment ready, and then we'll attend a brief explanation to learn how to handle all the material. Then, once we're geared up with all the necessary equipment, we'll set sail in a small boat towards the dive site.
During this experience, we'll discover several cannons and ammunition remains that date back to the Napoleonic period and are sunken under the castle of Castro Urdiales. We'll also discover the remains of the castreño mining past, whose remnants have shaped the coastline of this beautiful town on the eastern Cantabrian coast.
Our snorkeling experience will last approximately one hour, during which we'll also learn other interesting facts about the underwater world found on the coast of Castro Urdiales.
Lastly, at 8 pm, we'll end the activity by returning to the meeting point.
