Tour Details

Would you like to take a food tour of Crete? At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chania and begin a tour in which food and tradition will take center stage.

First, we'll head to the village of Vouves, home to the oldest olive tree in the world. We'll travel back in time to discover the island's deep connection with olive cultivation, producing one of the most prized olive oils in the world.

After admiring this natural monument, over 3,000 years old, we'll continue to the town of Perivolakia, where we'll stop at a traditional local venue for a tasting of cheese and honey, two of Crete’s most important products.

Following the tasting, we'll head to Drapanias to visit a winery. Here, we'll see how a family-run project has blended modern techniques with the best-kept secrets of Cretan winemaking. After exploring the winery and its museum, we'll enjoy a wine tasting. The perfect finale to the tour!

Finally, we'll return you to your hotel, concluding this 6-hour culinary journey through Crete.
