Lake Como & Brunate Tour Itinerary
After meeting your guide in the beautiful town of Como, located on the shore of the famous Italian lake of the same name, you'll begin your tour of its most important monuments. Explore the historic centre of Como, admiring landmarks like the Gothic-style Cathedral, or Duomo, whose impressive turquoise dome is sure to leave you in awe.
Continue strolling through Como's picturesque streets down to the port, where you'll be met with incredible views of Lake Como and its surrounding landscapes. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see as far as the Swiss Alps!
You'll then head to the next stop on your tour: the funicular railway between Como and Brunate. Climb on board the train, which has taken locals and tourists alike up this hill since 1894, and ascend to one of the best viewpoints in the area. Here, you'll enjoy unparalleled panoramic views over Como and the western Alps. After taking in the sights, you'll have free time to explore Brunate at your own pace.
For the finishing touch, you'll return to the port to spend the last part of your day on a boat cruise around Lake Como. You'll sail over the idyllic lake for around an hour, before returning to Como, where your tour will end.
