Chico River Off-Roading Tour
Activity Details
Fancy an exciting route in Comodoro Rivadavia? If so, we'll pick you up from your hotel at the appointed time in an off-roading vehicle and, once we've fastened our seatbelts, we'll set off for the Chico River.
As soon as we arrive at the Chico River area, the action starts from minute one. We'll start the off-roading circuit that will take us to the curious rock formations and the Cerro de Colores, which will offer us one of the best landscapes on the route. Did you know that more than 70 years ago this river dried up and left curious shapes with its sediments? While we tell you about the interesting facts and history of the Chico River, we'll head to the most challenging paths.
We'll cross streams, climb steep slopes and cross ditches in the valley that will make the route very moving and exciting.
At the end of this section, we'll head to a ranch to enjoy a picnic lunch, consisting of grilled red meat, a salad and a soft drink or water. Perfect to refuel and learn more about the region's traditions.
After the break, we'll resume the route aboard the off-roading vehicle and continue exploring another part of the unique geography of the Chico River.
Finally, after 8 hours of adventure, we'll say goodbye back at your hotel in Comodoro Rivadavia. See you next time!
Activity Options
During the booking process, you can choose between one of the following options:
- Driver: in this case, you'll get to drive the off-roading vehicle for the whole tour
- Passenger: in this case, you can only travel as the passenger throughout the tour
Activity Requirements
- The minimum age for driving the vehicle is 21.
- In order to drive the vehicle, you must have a valid driving licence and have previous experience driving off-roading vehicles.
- On the day of the activity, in order to drive the vehicle, you'll have to pay a deposit which will be returned at the end of the tour.
- The activity is not suitable for pregnant people or people with back problems.
