Guided Tour of the Mallorca Planetarium
The tour meets at the chosen time at the main entrance of the Mallorca Planetarium, in the Costitx neighbourhood.
The guided tour begins with a brief talk on space itself, but not to worry, it's aimed at the general public, you don't need a masters in physics! Then it's on to the meteorite room, where you can see a phenomenal collection of these interstellar objects!
Then it's on to the projection on the Mallorca Planetarium's dome. This video tells you everything you need to know about the secrets of the universe, the stars, sun, moon and planets! And we'll show you how to use the high definition telescopes outside to see the stars up close. Sure to awake an interest in astronomy for the young and old alike.
Following an hour and a half guided tour, you'll have half an hour of free time to explore the planetarium and take photos, until the next group arrives.
