Ausangate Glaciers Quad Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and start this exciting adventure. Ready?
We'll travel for 1 hour and 45 minutes south, specifically toward Cusipata, where we'll stop to enjoy an energizing breakfast. After eating, we'll head to the base where the quads will be and provide a 15-minute chat on how to drive them correctly and safely.
Once we learn the theory, we'll start our quad tour, which will last 1 hour and 20 minutes. Throughout the journey, we'll enjoy the incredible scenic views of the multicolored mountains of the Vilcanota mountain range.
Afterward, we'll climb off our quads to go on a moderate-level hike between 40 minutes and 1 hour until we reach the peak of the Nevado Ausangate. Did you know that it's the fifth-tallest mountain in Peru? Its maximum altitude is 20,948 ft (6385 m)!
From the summit, you'll have time to regain strength as the Andean wine blows through the mountains and admire the impressive glaciers, where you'll feel like you're in front of an ancient giant.
Next, we'll return to the starting point following the same route by quad. Once we reach Cusipata, a delicious buffet-style lunch with typical Andean food awaits. The perfect way to end the tour!
Finally, we'll return to Cusco and drop you off at the Plaza Regocijo, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 12 hours.
