Valle de Antón Bike Tour
Bike Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet close to the fruit market in Valle de Antón, a unique site nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano. Here, we'll give you your bicycle and provide a short introduction on what we're about to see.
We'll start to pedal along the streets of the town, leaving behind its serene ambience to go on the nature trails with dense vegetation. Along the tour, we'll pass by some of the most important spots in Valle del Antón, a region known for its vast biodiversity. We'll first stop at a store to taste Geisha coffee, one of the most expensive coffees in the world. What a privilege!
As we enjoy each sip, we'll tell you how this coffee is known worldwide for its unique intensity and flavor. We'll continue the adventure on our bikes by heading to the fruit market, where you can try seasonal tropical fruit grown in the region. You'll be amazed by the variety as we explore the halls filled with stalls.
Then, we'll cycle in search of the butterfly house, a natural sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of native butterflies. Here, you'll learn about their life cycle and admire the fascinating shapes and colors of these beautiful insects up close.
Lastly, we'll ride along the trails that will lead us back to the initial starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a 2.5 to 3-hour bike tour. It'll be tiring, but well worth it!
