Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Exmouth at the appointed time to begin this tour to Ningaloo. Settling into the vehicle, with a warm cup of tea, coffee, or juice in hand, we'll set off for the Cape Range National Park. Here we go!

During the drive, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll tell you about the history of the region as we try to spot local animals such as emus, dingoes, and birds of prey.

Our first stop will be at Yardie Creek, where we'll hike a total of 2 kilometers (1.3 miles). During this approximately 1.5-hour hike, we'll stop to observe wildlife and admire the gorge carved by centuries of erosion.

After the hike, we'll enjoy refreshments before continuing on to the famous Turquoise Bay beach, just a 20-minute drive away, where we'll snorkel. With the proper equipment and after a brief safety briefing, we'll dive into the crystal clear waters to discover corals, colorful fish and, with a bit of luck, sea turtles or reef sharks.

Afterward, we'll stop at the Milyering Visitor Centre. While we prepare a fresh lunch for you, you can explore the exhibits on the flora and fauna of the region, see the megalodon tooth and other fascinating artifacts and even visit the souvenir shop.

With newfound energy, we'll make our way back to Exmouth. On the way, we'll stop at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse for panoramic views of the coastline, reef, and Exmouth Gulf, and during the months of July to October, it's also possible to spot humpback whales from this vantage point. During the months of July to October, it's also possible to spot humpback whales from this vantage point—you'll be left speechless!

Finally, we'll return to Exmouth and say goodbye at your accommodation after 8 hours of sightseeing.
