Discover the life and legacy of Leonardo da Vinci on this fascinating walking tour of Florence. We'll explore the places where he lived and worked, unravelling the secrets of the genius and how the city influenced his work—a journey through time to meet the man behind the myth!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, very close to the workshop where Leonardo da Vinci worked. From here, we'll start a tour of Florence, following Leonardo's footsteps from his arrival at Verrocchio's workshop to his departure for Milan. Want to know his secrets, flaws and some gossip about his private life? Let's go!

We'll head to Via Cavour, where the home of the influential Medici family was located. We'll reveal many curiosities about the close relationship between da Vinci and Florence—you'll be surprised by what we discover!

Next, we'll continue to the workshops that Verrocchio rented, owned by Donatello, where Leonardo developed his technological skills. Did you know that these workshops were the cradle of some of his most innovative ideas? We'll also review his links with the likes of Lorenzo the Magnificent, Michelangelo and Botticelli.

Then, we'll cross the Piazza del Duomo, where we'll discover some of the works related to the genius. We'll also pass through Via Dei Calzaiuoli and Piazza Signoria, and arrive at the famous Ponte Vecchio, where you can admire one of the most iconic views of the cradle of the Renaissance.

Finally, our tour will conclude in Piazza Santo Spirito after 2 hours of immersion in the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci.
