At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Rathaus, Hamburg's Town Hall building, to start our free tour through this incredible German city. Ready to dive into the port city's history? Let's go!
Our first stop is the Patriotic Society of 1765, a historic landmark that offers a glimpse into the city’s civic pride and cultural roots. From here, we’ll stroll over the Trostbrücke, a charming bridge that perfectly frames the city’s waterways and a great vantage point for stunning photos.
Next, we’ll visit the St. Nikolai war memorial, a powerful monument honoring the victims of World War II bombings.
As we continue, we'll stroll down the famous Deichstraße, the city’s oldest street, which will lead us to the iconic Speicherstadt, a historic warehouse district and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Did you know it spans an area of 260,000 sq m (2,798,616 sq ft)?
We’ll then head to the Elbphilharmonie, the architectural marvel that stands as a beacon for music lovers worldwide, and one of the most visited sites in Hamburg. The curious facade is sure to captivate you! This incredible space also doubles as the spot where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of Hamburg.
To round off the tour, we’ll visit St. Michael’s Church, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks with its striking baroque tower, offering panoramic views that will leave you breathless.
Then, after about 2 hours of exploring the incredible port city of Hamburg, we’ll bring the experience to an end at this final stop. See you next time!
