Havana Alternative Bike Tour

Cuba is a country defined by different cultures, and the vibrant mix of religions, traditions and diverse ways of life can be found around every corner of its capital. After meeting your guide at the Parque de los Martires Universitarios, you'll hop onto your bike and delve deep into a new and different side of Havana.

Your cycling route around underground Havana will take you from the emblematic historic centre of the island's capital to what is considered its most hipster neighbourhood. Immigrants and influence from Spain, Africa and China have forged the Cuban culture and people as they are today, and your guide will reveal signs of the diverse religions, music, dance and traditions that coexist in the city throughout your tour.

Learn about Cuban-Chinese culture and history as you pedal through Havana's Chinatown; discover the incredible street art decorating the city down the lively Callejón de Hamel, whose colourful murals will leave you in awe. You'll also visit a tattoo shop where you'll hear all about the body art culture here, as well as uncovering a hidden restaurant and a place selling 5 cent coffee

Follow your guide as they explain the challenges of daily life here and the innovative ways that locals have come up with solutions, like Paquete Semanal, a way to bypass the lack of internet in Cuba. Embrace the energetic atmosphere that remains in Havana and hear stories of the Malecon nightlife while finishing up an unforgettable bike tour in a bar where only locals go.
