At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Havana and then head southwest to begin this excursion to Soroa Waterfall. Are you ready to explore the jungle of Cuba? Let's go!
Did you know that Soroa's landscape has been declared a Biosphere Reserve? As soon as we arrive, we'll start walking through the lush vegetation of the jungle where the "Arcoíris de Cuba" (Rainbow of Cuba) is located.
Finally, we'll reach the Soroa waterfall, which belongs to the Sierra del Rosario and is one of the highest waterfalls in the country, with a drop of no less than 22 m (72 ft). There, we'll stop to rest and enjoy the views. In the middle of the day, when we start to get hungry, we'll enjoy a typical Cuban lunch.
Nature will be the real protagonist of our tour. Along the trekking route, we'll see the exotic vegetation that makes up one of the most beautiful natural enclaves in the west of Cuba. Be sure to take some photos!
We'll follow this path until we reach the viewpoint of the reserve, the ideal spot to get one of the best panoramic views of the Sierra del Rosario.
Finally, we'll end this trip to Soroa Waterfall by dropping you back off at your accommodation 5 to 6.5 hours later.
Visit to the Soroa Orchid Garden
