Guided Tour of Hiroshima
Join us to find out how World War II came to an end in Japan when we take this brilliant guided tour. We will meet up at 10 am next to Nishi Kamiyacho Station.
We will stroll towards the Hiroshima Peace Museum, where we will relive some of the most tragic moments of modern history. We will discover the horrors caused by the atomic bombing of August 1945 and learn how the people of this place managed to recover from this catastrophe.
After visiting the exhibition, we will go to the Orizuru tower, the iconic symbol of the city. From the observation deck, we will enjoy perfect panoramic views of Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park. We will also see the magnificent castle and the beautiful island of Miyajima.
We will pause to regain our strength with a lunch that includes a delicious dish and a drink. Afterward, we will head to the Genbaku Dome known as the Hiroshima Peace Monument. This elegant structure is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its great historical value. Our guide will reveal all the details behind it.
We will conclude the guided tour by returning to the original starting point at 2:30 after a morning full of history and reflection.
