Huon Valley and Hastings Caves Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Hobart to board a minibus and enter the fertile Huon Valley, known for its apple orchards: one of the country's most famous craft ciders in the country is even produced here.
Then, we'll reach the Tahune Airwalk, a unique trail built on the shores of the Huon River. Here, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore this stunning site at your own pace and grab a bite to eat. You'll stroll among trees that are over 2500 years old!
Our next stop? Hastings Caves, one of only two Dolomite caves in all of Australia. Here, we'll dive into the interior of this vast cave, learning about the area's geological history. You'll even spot some native fauna, such as platypus, quolls, pademelons, and birds.
Afterward, we'll return to Hobart, not before stopping at one of the local cider producers, where you can enjoy a tasting if you want. Finally, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting point after a total of 10 hours.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels in downtown Hobart. If you're staying in another area, we'll meet you at the indicated time on the corner of Davey and Elizabeth Street.
