Seville is full of wonderful monuments and unique hidden corners such as Giralda bell tower, Plaza Espana square, the Cathedral, and the Tower of Gold. Discover them all when you take our fantastic trip from Isla Cristina.
Early in the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Isla Cristina. After traveling for around an hour and a half by bus, we arrive in the magical city of Seville. Our tour around the Andalucian capital begins at the site of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. Our guide will accompany you as you discover famous landmarks such as María Luisa Park and Plaza de Espana, two of the iconic landmarks of this beautiful city.
Later, the panoramic tour continues by visiting the neighborhood of Santa Cruz. This area is historically important for having been home to the city's Jewish population during the medieval era. It is also one of the most picturesque parts of all of Seville. We will stroll through the labyrinthine streets, passing famous monuments such as the Royal Alcazar of Seville and the General Archive of the Indies which had a leading role in the Spanish colonialism of America.
From Santa Cruz, we will then head to Seville Cathedral where a guide will show us around what is the largest Gothic temple in the world. This magnificent shrine is the resting place for iconic figures such as Christopher Columbus. During your tour of the building, the guide will show you two more of Seville's architectural treasures, the Orangetree Courtyard, and the cathedral's bell tower, the famous 'Giralda'. Both these wonderful monuments are a testimony to the city's Moorish era.
After touring the Cathedral, you will have your own free time to enjoy the delicious Andalucian gastronomy. You either hop around the wonderful taps bars or sit down and enjoy a meal in a traditional restaurant.
You will then continue to explore Seville by yourself up until the end of the afternoon. You can see wonderful monuments such as the Tower of Gold, on the banks Guadalquivir river, and the majestic Maestranza bullring. You can also enjoy a ride around the streets of the city in a traditional horse-drawn calash carriage, or even do a bit of souvenir shopping around Sierpes street.
At the end of the trip, we will climb back on board the bus which will take us back to Isla Cristina.
