When night starts to fall we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our exciting evening food tour.
Our first stop will be the Port of Keelung, the Maritime Plaza. We'll explore this important historic and economic area and find out all about its origins. We'll also visit Ren'Ai Market and Herb Alley, an alley full of charming shops where you can find aromatic herbs and infusions.
Next, we'll head to the iconic Miaokou Night Market, one of the most famous markets in Taiwan since the 19th century, when the island was under Japanese rule. We'll explore its streets, visit its shops and taste typical Taiwanese dishes such as seafood noodle curry, sausages, curry cake, Taiwanese herbal tea and bubble tea. Taiwanese locals consider Miaokou Night Market the best place in the country to eat street food!
Lastly, we'll visit the Ching-An Temple, near the market, to discover Taiwan's culture and religion.
At the end of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel in the centre of Keelung.
