Villa Rica Coffee Tour
Villa Rica Coffee Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in La Merced at the indicated time and head towards Villa Rica, the coffee town 'par excellence' of the Pasco region.
First of all, we'll go to the centre of Villa Rica. Did you know that this city is one of the main coffee producers in Peru? There, we'll take a panoramic tour of Villa Rica, where we'll visit its main square, where a giant sculpture in the shape of a coffee pot stands out, in honour of the province's coffee-growing tradition.
Afterwards, we'll enter the El Oconal lagoon to admire the biodiversity of this ecosystem. There, we'll get on board a rowing boat to explore the environment and get to know the flora and fauna of the place.
We'll return to the mainland and approach La Cumbre viewpoint, from where we'll have unforgettable views. Lastly, we'll visit a handicraft and coffee shop, an ideal place to continue learning about this drink and where we'll taste a cup of coffee, the finishing touch to the activity!
Finally, we'll return to La Merced and drop you off at your hotel 10 hours later.
